A porous ceramic support is designed as a multi-functional independent catalyst layer for solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) running on liquid hydrocarbon fuel. The consists of highly Ce0.9Ca0.1O2?? backbone and active NiMo catalysts, which could be integrated into the conventional Ni metal containing anode internal reforming Compared to layers sintered anodes, this simply assembled top without additional sintering, thereby avoiding mismatch thermal expansion coefficient between improving stability single cell. Moreover, current collector inserted enhance collection efficiency electrochemical performance At 750 ?, displays high activity towards catalytic decomposition methanol, cell achieve maximum power density 400–500 mW·cm?2 in dry methanol.
